I have no words to describe this paradise island on Thailands east coast… Paradise on earth maybe? This is where most diver certifications “gets done” on the whole earth so it is quite obvious that most of this island focus is on diving and all different kinds of water activites.

We had the opportunity to get a SSI diver certification at Roctopus diving school, I really recommend them if you plan on getting a diving certification on Koh Tao, they took the time for everyone during the dives and we didn’t have to join the big deathstar diving schools that filled the sea with hundreds of divers at one site. It all started with getting to know all equipment, english diving terminology, how to clear the mask underwater, sharing air underwater and such fun challenges! But it all worked out somehow, three days later and we both had our certifications

Another trip we made was to Shark bay, we started pretty late because it was raining in the morning, but for what worth? Once we reached the Shark Bay, after hours of trying to find the way on really crappy gravel roads, the sky just opened up and the worst monsune rain every fell down for over an hour. Lets just say, we didn’t use our snorkling equipment, but the good part of the story was that we did get to drink from coconuts with a straw when we were hiding from the rain in some resort
